Since the release of Windows 11, a feature that was missing from the OS, was the taskbar Drag and Drop and Microsoft received a lot of backlash about that.

Behind the scenes, they’ve been testing this in the Preview Builds of Windows 11 and now in Windows 11 22H2, the feature is finally coming back to Windows.

The Drag and Drop feature works with a lot of File Formats and you can use it to switch between different applications, without having to let go of your mouse button.

You can also use it to switch between File Explorer Tabs in Windows 11 22H2, a new feature that is not automatically enabled yet, but you can manually enable it if you follow this article.
