How to Completely Remove Widgets from Windows 11

Hello guys and welcome to the Tech Based website. In this article we are going to go through the process of completely removing Widgets from Windows 11.

Maybe you find the new Widgets section pretty useless so that would be the main reason why you would want to remove it.

To remove it, simply type in the Search Box, CMD. Right click on CMD to Run it as Administrator.

In CMD all you have to do is to paste in the following command:

winget uninstall "windows web experience pack"

After that, in CMD you should see the following message:

And that’s it. You completely removed the Widgets section from Windows 11. If you ever want it back just reverse the command and instead of using uninstall, use install.

I also have a video prepared in which I should you the whole process. You can watch it below.

    1. if you want to reinstall the package but the command: winget install “windows web experience pack” don’t work
and you try to search the app Windows Web Experience Pack in the Microsoft store but it doesn’t appear so here the link..
to install the app in Microsoft Store
the command don’t work and you can find it in the store because this app is native from windows 10, and in this update of windows 11 it is as if the windows 10 applications were no longer necessary in windows 11 or they were not compatible and that is why it does not appear, The application is still in the Microsoft store database but it cannot be searched, it is like when you try Search for an application on your mobile phone either in the appstore or in google play but the application is not compatible, therefore the search engine does not give you results for that application, so the only way to access the application is through a link. here it is, (and calm obviously the application is compatible)
