New File Explorer Coming in 2023 in Windows 11 (How it looks)

In this article, we will talk about the New File Explorer that is Coming in 2023 in Windows 11 and I will also show you how it looks.

Microsoft will do a complete overhaul of the File Explorer in Windows 11 and that is expected to be released in the next Major release of Windows 11, which should be 23H2.

In this article, we will discuss a screenshot that was provided by Zach from Windowscentral.com, which shows an internal mockup of how the New File Explorer will look.

From the Screenshot above, you will be able to notice a new Header in the File Explorer, with the Copy and Paste button being moved below that Header.

Also, we can notice the New Navigation Pane, with a New Design and most likely New Animations that match the Windows 11 experience.

In the center, you can see the New Recommended section, which we will able to turn off, the Pinned files, and Recent Files.

In addition to the New Details Pane which we’ve talked about before, we will be able to see the New Gallery Section in the File Explorer.

Microsoft is also stating that they will implement Microsoft 365 inside File Explorer and Touch Devices will also get a better experience.
