In this article, we will talk about the New Taskbar Customization Options Coming to Windows 11 24H2.
In the most recent Canary Channel Build, developer Albacore on Twitter has discovered some New Hidden Options related to the Taskbar that will allow the user to Customize it even more.
More taskbar customization is coming to Windows 11 24H2. The newest Canary build has hidden settings for toggling the Notifications bell 🔕 as well as switching to a shorter date format 📆

At the moment these checkboxes don't appear to do anything, at least in Canary. Beta.. 🧐? pic.twitter.com/DdjQwNz0M5
The New Options will include settings such as Show notifications bell icon and Show shortened time and date.
These New Options could come in handy for users who have smaller displays and want to use more space for taskbar icons rather than the System Tray Area.
These Options can’t be enabled with Vivetool as they are Force Disabled, but in the next few Builds for the Canary or Dev Channel, they most likely will be available for testing.
