In this article, we will talk about Windows 11 25H2 and what other discoveries have been made related to this Release.
Since the release of the 26200 series in the Dev Channel of the Windows 11 Insider Program, there have been a lot of speculations related to whether this is the 25H2 series, as Microsoft hasn’t ever mentioned 25H2 and the Dev Channel Version is still set to 24H2.
A recent discovery made by XenoPanther on X, reveals that Microsoft is mentioning the version 25H2 inside the appraiserres.dll file in the latest Dev Channel Build.

The fact that GE25H2 is mentioned, most likely means that Windows 11 25H2 won’t get any platform changes. GE comes from Germaniun, which is the base platform of Windows 11 24H2 and that will most likely remain the same for 25H2.
This is happening so that Windows 11 25H2 will be a lighter version change, that won’t bring any huge bugs or issues for Windows Users.
Also Microsoft is keeping in mind that Windows 10 Support is ending this year, so the transition will be easier for those users aswell.
