We all know that Microsoft has lost a lot of their user trust, especially because of the neglected feedback and all the AI Features that they try to implement in the OS.
In some good news, Microsoft is starting to change their perspective and in 2026, will try to implement some of the Highly Requested Features.
In certain reports from windowscentral.com Microsoft will bring back the ability to move the Taskbar in Windows 11, to the Top, Left or Right. Also every part of Taskbar will be optimized to work properly in any position.
These development changes are apparently underway and should be officially revealed over the summer.
Other reports show that Microsoft also wants to bring back the small taskbar. We now have the ability to enable the small taskbar buttons, but the taskbar stays the same. In 2026 we should also be able to resize the taskbar all together.
These are still only insider reports and we don’t have any official announcement from Microsoft, so take everything with a grain of salt.
