In this article, we will talk about the New Windows K2 Start Menu Phone Features, which also include the New Taskbar Flyout, Messages App, Notifications and more.
The New Windows K2 Phone Integration Features are expected to be released in the near future, as part of the Windows K2 Internal Plan from Microsoft, which aims to fix Windows 11 based on user feedback.
New Start Phone Recent Activities and Preview on Hover
Microsoft will be adding New Recent Activities in the Start Menu for certain Notifications on your Phone, as well as the option to Preview those Notifications on hover.
New Taskbar Phone Flyout
Microsoft will also be testing a New Taskbar Flyout that can be accessed through the System Tray and when your Phone is connected you will have access to certain Phone Controls directly from the Taskbar.
New Clipboard History Sync
Microsoft will also be syncing your clipboard history between your phone and PC so that you are able to quickly copy something to/from your Phone.
New Messages App
Also a New Dedicated Messages App for Windows 11 will sync your phone’s SMS Feature to your PC and allow you to use that Features directly from Windows 11.
