In this article we will talk about the first screenshots of the new Android Apps in Windows 11. This feature was promised by Microsoft from the start, but the development process is taking longer than expected.
For those of you who don’t know, Microsoft will provide support and will let you install Android apps in Windows 11 in the near future. Microsoft partnered with Amazon and along with the Amazon AppStore they will integrate a feature that will allow you use Android Apps in Windows 11.
We have the first screenshots leaked on a chinese forum/website.
In the first screenshot we can see the WeChat Android App in Windows 11. The screenshot provide an overview of the taskbar thumbnail of the app.
The second screenshot provides an overview of the interface of an Chinese Social Media App.
As from the screenshots, Android Apps is a feature that has a lot of potential and we can’t wait to test it out in the future Windows 11 Builds.
In the near future, Microsoft will most likely provide some preview versions in the Dev Channel Builds from the Windows Insider Program.
