Search Highlights is a new feature that was implemented at first in Windows 11, and now it is also found in Windows 10. It adds news, trending searches, and info about the current day on the left side of the search box.
Many people don’t like or find it annoying, so in this article, I will show you how to disable it quickly.
How to Disable Search Highlights in Windows 11
First of all, in the Search Box, click on the 3 dots on the right side and then click on Search settings.
The Settings App will be opened, and you need to scroll near to the bottom and find More settings. Under Show search highlights, click on the slider to turn it off.
Now the Search Highlights is disabled, and the same process can be done also in Windows 10.
