In this article, I will show you How to Enable New Snap Layouts with 4 Variants in Windows 11 25300.

Microsoft is also improving the Snap Layouts in Windows 11 25300, by adding multiple variants which also include a New Title, App Icon displayed in the Snap Position, and also faster opening of the Hover.

You will need to download ViveTool, which is a small app that will help us enable hidden features from Windows.

After you download ViveTool, you will need to extract the contents of the archive into the System32 location so that we can have full administrative privileges to the operating system.

Right-click on the archive and then click on Extract all. Select the System32 location and then click on Extract. You will also need to provide some administrative privileges.

After you’ve done that, you will need to open CMD as administrator and then copy and paste the following commands:

Enable Variant 1: No ‘Snap this window’ title, but opens on hover quicker

vivetool /enable /id:40851068 /variant:1

Enable Variant 2: ‘Snap this window’ title and App Icon in the snap layout position

vivetool /enable /id:40851068 /variant:2

Enable Variant 3: Mixture of variant 2 and variant 1. Shows the title and App Icon and opens on hover quicker

vivetool /enable /id:40851068 /variant:3

Enable Variant 4: Same as default variant (no variant/’0′) but opens on hover quicker

vivetool /enable /id:40851068 /variant:4

You will now need to restart your computer, for the changes to take effect.

After the restart, you will be able to see each variant of the New Snap Layouts. In my opinion, the best variant is the 3rd one.
