How to Enable New Taskbar with Rounded Corners in Windows 11 25193

In this article, I will show you how to Enable the New Taskbar with Rounded Corners in Windows 11 25193.

In Windows 11 25193, you can find a hidden feature that has been on and off in Windows 11 in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program.

We are talking about the Tablet Optimized Taskbar, which also has some improvements for a normal computer, one of them being that you get nice rounded corners in the System Tray area.

For a computer that has a touchscreen display, the result is pretty different, as you will get a completely different taskbar and menu while the taskbar is automatically hidden.

You can see an example in Xeno Panther’s Twitter:

Download ViveTool from Github

You will need to download ViveTool, which is a small app that will help us enable hidden features from Windows.

After you download ViveTool, you will need to extract the contents of the archive into the System32 location so that we can have full administrative privileges to the operating system.

Right-click on the archive and then click on Extract all. Select the System32 location and then click on Extract. You will also need to provide some administrative privileges.

After you’ve done that, you will need to open CMD as administrator and then copy and paste the following command:

vivetool /enable /id:26008830

After this, you will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After the restart, you should see the new Taskbar with rounded corners that looks way better than the default taskbar in Windows 11.
