In this article, we will talk about the latest Emergency Windows 11 25H2 Hotpaches for Windows 11 Enterprise 25H2/24H2 and Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024.
The past few days there’s been quite a big confusion online, because there were a lot of articles talking about these Emergency Updates, but not clearly specifying they are only for a select number of devices that are managed by Windows Autopatch.
It is not clear yet if those issues that were fixed in those Patches are present in the normal version of Windows 11, but nothing has been announced by Microsoft.
First Emergency Update (Hotpatch KB5084597) has been released on March 13th and fixed the following:
[Networking] Fixed: This update addresses a security issue in the Windows Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) management tool. If you connect to a malicious remote server, an attacker could disrupt the tool or run code on your device. For more information about these security fixes, see CVE-2026-25172, CVE-2026-25173, and CVE-2026-26111.
For more information about the March 13th Hotpatch you can check the Official Microsoft Blog.
Second Emergency Update (Hotpatch KB5084897) has been released on March 16th and fixed the following:
[Bluetooth] Fixed: This update addresses an issue where Bluetooth devices may not appear on the Bluetooth & devices page in Windows Settings or in Quick Settings, even if the devices are connected and functioning as expected. This issue could also prevent users from adding new devices because available devices did not appear in the list for connection.
For more information about the March 16th Hotpatch you can check the Official Microsoft Blog.
So these were some big issues fixed by Microsoft and hopefully these are not a part of the normal Windows 11 Version.
