New Windows 11 February 2024 Update – New Features in the Main Release (KB5034765)

In this article, we will talk about the latest Windows 11 Update for the Main Release, which is Build 22631.3155 or KB5034765.

For those of you who are not familiar with how Windows 11 Updates for the Main Release work, I will explain it to you in the following lines.

Every month Windows 11 has a B and a C Release for Windows 11. Usually, the B Release is launched on the second Tuesday of the month and contains all the features that were tested in the previous month’s C Release.

Particular to this Build, you can encounter the following:

  • The Copilot in Windows icon now appears on the right side of the system tray on the taskbar. Also, the display of Show desktop at the rightmost corner of the taskbar will be off by default. To turn it back on, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar. You can alsoright-click the taskbar and choose Taskbar settings.Note Windows 11 devices will get this new functionality at different times. Some of these new features roll out gradually using controlled feature rollout (CFR) to consumers.
  • This update addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.

Additionally, you can encounter some of these Fixes from the C Release in January:

  • This update addresses an issue that stops search from working on the Start menu for some users. The issue occurs because of a deadlock.
  • This update addresses an issue to make video calls more reliable.
  • This update addresses an issue that causes your device to stop responding. This is intermittent and occurs after you install a print support app.
  • This update addresses an issue that affects the File Explorer Gallery. It stops you from closing a tooltip.
  • This update addresses an issue that affects Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio earbuds. They lose sound when you stream music.
  • This update addresses an issue that affects a Bluetooth phone call. It stops the audio from routing through the PC when you answer the call on your PC.
