Windows 11 25H2 Update
In terms of Update Size, Windows 11 25H2 will just be an Enablement Package. This means that the Update Size will be small, and the time it will take you to upgrade will be very little.
Windows 11 25H2 is based of the same platform as Windows 11 24H2, so this eKB will be enabled over 24H2 with all the New Features that are tied to Windows 11 25H2.
Older Windows 11 Versions, or even Windows 10, will require a Windows 11 24H2 Upgrade first, and after that all the New Features related to Windows 11 25H2 will be enabled.
Windows 11 25H2 New Features
Windows 11 25H2 will focus a lot on New AI Features, that are only available for Copilot+ PCs that have the New NPU Processors and here we can mention Windows Recall, Click to Do and other smaller Features such AI Super Resolution. There are many more, but we will cover those in another dedicated article.
We will also have a lot of New Features for normal users, one example here can be the New Start Menu that was completely redesigned.
Windows 11 25H2 Release Date
Windows 11 25H2 will most likely be releasing in October as this also happened back in 2023 with Windows 11 23H2 which was also just an Enablement Package.
Windows 11 25H2 is expected to be released on the Release Preview Channel in September and most likely come as an Update in the Main Release in early October.
