In this article, we will talk about how the New Windows 11 Copilot App was Exposed for being just Microsoft Edge.

It is most likely common knowledge right now, that the Copilot App is just a Web Version of the Copilot Platform and not a native app.

Apparently, things are even worse, as discoveries have been made that by simply renaming one file and one folder in the Copilot Installation, will simply just launch the Microsoft Edge Browser.

The new Copilot app for Windows 11 is really just Microsoft Edge.

Renaming "mscopilot.exe" to "msedge.exe" and its folder from "Copilot" to "Edge" will simply launch Microsoft Edge.

This just shows that, Copilot is not even an App itself, just a Microsoft Edge shortcut with a twist.

Also, funny enough, the trick works even if you completely uninstalled Microsoft Edge from your system.

With the recent news and backlash that Microsoft has received, they announced that they are building a New Team that will develop New Native Apps for Windows 11.
