New Windows 11 Build 22471 – File Explorer Crash Fix, Taskbar Icons Flyout (Dev Channel)

In this article we are going to talk about the new Windows 11 build for the Dev Channel which is 22471. This is the smallest build yet, with only some fixes applied to it and no major changes.

The only change in this build is that a function from Windows 11 was renamed from TabletInputService to TextInputManagementService. This change was made so that the name of this function would better represent the purpose of it.

Regarding fixes, Microsoft fixed an underlying issue that was causing the Taskbar’s hidden icons flyout to have sharp corners instead of rounded corners sometimes.

Microsoft also fixed an issue that was making explorer.exe crash sometimes when closing File Explorer windows.
