New Windows 11 Build 22621.160 – Tabs in File Explorer are coming to Windows 11 22H2 (Beta Channel)

In this article, we will talk about the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build for the Beta Channel, which is Build 22621.160 (KB5014770).

Remember when I told you a few days ago that Tabs in File Explorer won’t be a thing in Windows 11 22H2 ? Well, Microsoft proved me wrong, as they released Build 22621.160 to the Beta Channel, that brings this new feature to Windows 11 22H2.

This could mean that Windows 11 22H2 will be slightly delayed so that Microsoft provides a reliable experience with the new Tabs and Navigation Pane in File Explorer.

Unfortunately, the experience is not available to all Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel, but can be manually enabled. Check this article, for a full tutorial on How to Enable Tabs and New Navigation Pane in File Explorer in Windows 11.
