In this article, we will briefly talk about the new redesigned Search Box in Windows 11, that you can find in the latest Dev Channel Builds in the Windows Insider Program.
In the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program, the Search Box had various different improvements throughout every Build. Not only Microsoft worked on making the Indexing more efficient and fast, but they also improved the Search Box Performance.
Lately, Microsoft is testing a new redesigned front page for the Search Box in Windows 11, and in this article, I will show you, what is new and how to use it.
The new Search Box Design is implementing the suggestions based on frequently searched terms and programs.
You will have a Suggested list from recently used software on the left side and in the right side, you will have today’s headlines and also trending searches.
In the bar up top, you will also have a suggestion based on recent Bing Search Engine searches, and when you start typing that suggestion will disappear, letting you search for whatever you want.
When searching for an item, the design remains the same and the old options implemented in the Search Box can be found under the 3 dots on the right side, with certain aspects of the Search Box being available for editing in the Settings App.
